ASC is one of the UK’s biggest charities managing artist studios, we provide space to over 700 artists across nine London sites.
To get a studio, you must be a practicing artist – this now includes applied artists and small creative industries.
Please note demand is high so there is a waiting list, which you can join here.
Rents vary from building to building, but they are always much lower than commercial market value. In most cases the rent includes: electricity; business and water rates; building insurance and service charges. Where possible, we also try to provide free WIFI. ASC does not charge a registration fee.
We also offer workspace, along with a free advice service on all property matters, to charitable and not-for-profit organisations.

Situated beside the Grand Union Canal, the building offers 26 workspace. 1 unit will be offered rent-free to a young creative who is a Brent resident.
243 Ealing Road is our template for expanding the charities benefit groups and services. We want to mix fine artists with start-up and mid-career creative businesses and support everyone through free training, mentoring, and development together with financial support via business growth loans.
Studio rents will be based on £18.5sqft p.a. + £1.00sqft p.a. service charge. Studio tenants will not be liable for any business rates, building insurance or water rates.
We are also creating 9 micro studios, designed for small creative businesses at very low rent. These units will be 55sqft, 5.04m2 with bench and tool rack. Rents for these units will be £25-£30 per week inclusive of everything.
All tenants will benefit from shared kitchens, shared brush sinks and meeting room.
The project will be spread over 3 Ground and First Floor blocks located within a new Network Homes residential scheme. Positioned overlooking the Grand Union Canal and 2 minutes’ walk from Alperton Tube Station (Piccadilly Line), 15 minute walk from Hangar Lane Tube Station (Central Line) and served by buses: 79, 83, 224, 245, 297, 483, 487, N83.
All units will have full wheelchair / disability access.

The ‘A.S.C. Art House’, Grafton Quarter will offer tenants bespoke, secure, low cost workspace with floor to ceiling windows, gas central heating, secure cycle storage, shared Kitchen and showers with full disability access and free use of a huge exhibition space and amazing break out space. Part of a new mixed use development, ‘Grafton Quarter,’ is located on Grafton Road, 15 minutes walk from West Croydon Station. Tenants will take up occupation alongside the developments residents; with 88 apartments across five new buildings and nine town houses, this is an inspired and creative development.
